The Sound - The 1975

Most people don't know that this song was based on a horror novel set in 1975. Please read the original blurb below:

In 1975, a team of scientists stumbled upon a discovery that would change the course of medical history. Deep in the jungles of South America, they had found the largest heart ever documented. At first, it was a wonder to behold - its size was unimaginable, and it seemed to pulse with a life of its own. But as they delved deeper into their research, strange things began to happen. The scientists began to experience nightmares and hallucinations, and whispers of a curse began to circulate among the locals. As they probed the secrets of the colossal heart, they unwittingly unleashed a terror that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

As the team returned to their lab with the heart, they noticed an unnatural darkness seeping into the world around them. The air grew thick with a palpable sense of dread, and the heart began to pulse with an otherworldly energy. Soon, they realized that the heart was more than just a mere organ - it was a vessel for something far more sinister. As the scientists worked tirelessly to uncover the secrets of the heart, they unwittingly summoned an ancient evil that had been slumbering for centuries. And now, as the darkness begins to spread, they must race against time to stop the heart before it unleashes its full power and destroys them all.
